Arbor Day - April 25
A Celebration of TreesArbor Day at The Arboretum is FREE to the public all day Saturday, April 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with special programs:
A new, interactive exhibit, “Links of Life”,
will be on display in the Education Center. Learn about the connection between
plants and birds of prey. Find out why it is so important to limit pesticide and
chemical use in landscaping. The exhibit features hands-on activities and
specimens on loan from the Biology Department at Northern Arizona University.
Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase trees to plant at their home. Or as a donation to The Arboretum, visitors can plant their tree in the gardens, where we will care for it so that you and other guests can see it for years to come. Help to make an investment in the future... plant a tree!
