The Arboretum has facilities available to community groups
with a related mission, to groups that further the educational goals of The
Arboretum, and to other cultural and educational non-profit groups. Other organizations that enhance the mission of The Arboretum may be
considered, with the approval of The Executive Director. The
Arboretum is not available for weddings or to groups primarily religious or
political in nature. The mission statement reads:
The
mission of the Arboretum at Flagstaff is to increase the understanding,
appreciation, and conservation of plants and plant communities native to the
Colorado Plateau, to identify, evaluate, display, and introduce plants adaptable
to the climatic and soil conditions of the Flagstaff environment, to seek
through scientific research innovative solutions to conservation issues of this
high altitude environment, and to develop educational programs that will
increase the understanding of the need for wise stewardship of our natural
environment.

Meeting Room:
This 600 square-foot room is available for general meetings.
It can accommodate up to 40 people at tables, 45 people in a
classroom-style setting, and 45 people without tables and
chairs.

Dining Room:
This 325 square-foot room is located adjacent to the meeting room.
It can be used as a serving area.
It can also be used as a meeting room, seating up to 10 persons at a
table. |

Kitchen:
The kitchen may be used for preparation of refreshments or meals that
will be served either in the Dining Room or the Meeting Room. Groups may use the counters, sink, coffee urn and microwave
oven. Appliances and
utensils, including the refrigerator, dishwasher, conventional oven
and stove are not available for use. |

Patio:
This 170 square-foot area is located outdoors and adjacent
to the dining room.
Tables and chairs
seating a maximum of 15 people can be moved outside for use during fair
weather.

Picnic
Tables:
Four picnic tables, seating six adults each, are available
for reservations. The tables are located in a central part of The Arboretum’s
gardens. |
The facilities are available to rent from April 1 through
October 31 Hours of use are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Groups may use
the facility beyond those times for an additional fee.
Hour-long tours of The Arboretum are available for the
group for a fee, depending on guide availability.
A maximum of 20 participants is allowed per tour group.
We can accommodate more than one tour group at a time depending on tour
guide availability.
Fees start at $175/day.
