Arb Assisted Field Trips
October 2 @ 9:00 am - October 31 @ 12:00 pm$3 – $5
This new program begins with our most popular field trip: Five Alive Senses. In this field trip children learn more about their five senses and how they can be used to interact with, discover, and navigate their environment. Children will observe nature using all five senses in the gardens at The Arb and will have the opportunity to describe their perceptions of sights, sounds, smells, feelings and tastes; compare and contrast similar objects; and observe that plants are useful to humans and have a historical context in Northern Arizona. This is a great opportunity to take learning outside and explore nature in a safe and healthy way.
This field trip is suitable for children grades K-3 and adheres to Arizona State Standards and is not required for grade progression; we are offering this as an optional additional learning opportunity. For more information about this field trip, contact Helena Murray at Helena.Murray@thearb.org.
Non Members: $5/child
