Migration Station
Flagstaff is along the paths of many bird species as they fly back and forth from north to south as the seasons change. Our high elevation forests and marshy, mountain wetlands are a great resting stop for our migratory birds.
Promoting Native Plants
The Arboretum has worked closely with The City of Flagstaff to help homeowners and developers select native species that are not only appropriate tot he region, but will be better adapted to low water use, have lower fire risks, and are not potentially invasive.
