Creature Camp 6/19-6/23
Come join us at The Arboretum to learn about the creatures that call our ecosystem home. We will be exploring our 200 acres of gardens, forests, riparian areas, and meadows to see where and how these creatures live. Campers will have a chance to meet some animals up close and personal with a visit from Heritage Park Zoo and older campers will have the opportunity for a nocturnal campout on the Arboretum’s grounds

Garden Growers 6/26-6/30
This week campers use our beautiful outdoor classroom and natural spaces for an immersive experience learning about native plants and how they grow here in Flagstaff with our Arboretum staff. Campers will get their hands dirty as they discover the fun of composting, the importance of pollinators, what a greenhouse is and how it works, and how they can create their own imagination garden. Come join us for a week and see how you grow!
Weird Science 7/3-7/7
This week our campers will explore the world around them via fun and wacky science experiments. Campers will learn by investigating and asking questions; gaining important critical thinking skills. All while getting messy with hands-on activities and learning how fun science can be!
Camp WILL be held on July 4th. No discounts will be given if your child cannot attend that day.
Wilderness Explorers 7/10-7/14
Back by popular demand! Campers will explore various wilderness survival techniques this summer at the Arboretum. Come get hands-on experience learning how to build shelters, tie knots, and use a map and compass to guide your way. Learn what to do if you get lost in the wilderness from Coconino County Search and Rescue and put your new knowledge to the test! Older campers will have the opportunity to camp out and learn how people have used stars to navigate for ages.

Water Wonders 7/17-7/21
Looking for a way to cool off this summer while learning all about water in Arizona and life underwater? Come explore with us here at the Arboretum as we dive into all things water. Campers will explore Willow Pond and the life it contains as well as learn about the amazing water cycle and the importance of water conservation.
