Plateau Perspectives: Nature Through Art celebrates the profound and evolving relationship between art, ecology, and the unique landscape of the Colorado Plateau. Set amid the natural beauty of the Arboretum at Flagstaff, this exhibition invites artists to explore and amplify the stories of native plants and ecological processes that define this extraordinary region.

The exhibition centers around six large steel structures that once held interpretive signage on the Arboretum grounds. Now repurposed as canvases, these panels have been transformed into vibrant works of art that reflect the Plateau’s natural beauty, environmental challenges, and ecological resilience in the face of climate change. Through these pieces, the artists invite visitors into a deeper conversation about conservation, ecological stewardship, and the significance of native flora.
