Summer is just around the corner, and The Arboretum at Flagstaff is excited to offer unforgettable outdoor experiences for young explorers! Our Eco Explorer Summer Camps provide hands-on learning in nature, fostering curiosity and a love for the environment. Campers will engage in science experiments, art projects, and outdoor adventures, all while discovering the wonders of our local ecosystems. Whether they’re learning about pollinators, hiking through native plant habitats, or conducting water conservation experiments, kids will leave with a deeper connection to the natural world. Members of The Arb can take advantage of early access to summer camp registration starting March 1st and enjoy a special discounted rate of $290 per week.
Don’t miss out on a summer of adventure—secure your campers spot early! Spaces are limited, so be sure to register now!

In addition to summer camps, we are thrilled to introduce new climate change field trips designed specifically for grades 6-7. This interactive program aligns with state science standards and empowers students to explore the effects of climate change on Northern Arizona’s forests, plants, and wildlife. Through hands-on activities and guided discussions, students will analyze real environmental data, conduct field experiments, and develop critical thinking skills about climate solutions. This engaging curriculum encourages young scientists to understand climate challenges and take action for a sustainable future.
The Arboretum at Flagstaff is committed to providing high-quality environmental education that inspires the next generation of scientists, conservationists, and nature enthusiasts. Whether through our summer camps or field trips we invite educators, families, and students to connect with nature in meaningful ways.
