The Arboretum at Flagstaff is fortunate to have many amazing resources and collaborators to help us achieve our mission of increasing the understanding, appreciation, and conservation of plants and plant communities native to the Colorado Plateau. Our projects are funded through grants and cooperative agreements from federal and state agencies as well as private foundations and societies.

The Arboretum at Flagstaff is a Charter Member of the Center for Plant Conservation (CPC), a national organization of over 40 participating institutions whose mission is to save plant diversity for future generations. The Arboretum provides care for 31 rare species in the CPC’s National Collection through seed banking, research, surveying and monitoring.
